acid washed

charcoal (not black)... tank top, layering t, tights and boots. Add color with a cardigan and scarf

Or a tan or white layering tank, white top and camel sweater with cognac (or light brown) boots. Add a fun scarf.

or winter white sweater, cognac/brown boots, maroon scarf.

why not black?
I only have black and grey boots. I don't wear scarves (too busty, they really add bulk where I need it least).

Just saw these the other day in H&M and was surprised they came back around so quickly. The last time they were in "style" was about 7-8 years ago. Oh well.

I agree that doesn't look frumpy but it seems very early 2000's or something. I know the early-mid 90s stuff is coming back with the crop tops, high waisted jeans, flannel, etc. but I'm not ready for the late 90s/early 2000s to come back yet!

This post reminds me of this thread from just a few months ago-

Seems like some will always rock it and others will always be opposed.

I currently subscribe to multiple Women's Fashion magazines + they ALL claim in their fashion sections that denim pencil skirts are in style right now, so OP ignore the naysayers.

They are probably the ones who told me the ombre was out of style last year, but I still wear it (I live in So Cal) and so far, I do not look dated.

I say a denim pencil skirt looks cute w/a pair of boots that hit the knees or just below.

I posted asking about long denim skirts about a month ago and NO ONE responded. I'm feeling slightly redeemed OP, thank you!
