1 to Stanford
1 to Harvard
1 to Cornell
1 to Brown
1 to Middlebury
We are waiting for Yale and UPenn early next week, which together take up around 35% of the class' early applicants (around 30 kids between them)
2 at Sidwell. DD named names so I'll go with her report vs DCUM.
PP here. Sorry, forgot to say the 2 kids at Sidwell got into Harvard.
My child goes to Sidwell and said only one has been named and feted on facebook and in class, so it would be strange for no one to be publicly saying congrats to someone else. Not exactly something to hide! But maybe someone who got in is waiting for financial aid package before telling people? My child said that the silence on social media vs. Kids talking about getting results back in last few days is deafening.
There are two. Facebook is not the bible. A terrific kid and swimmer has been in for a while, as well as the more recent.
Oh, I thought you meant two kids found out Thursday they got in, the athletes who got recruited from Sidwell and other schools found out weeks ago. I think that OP meant what the early results were for non-athletes. If someone gets into an Ivy as an athlete, that is a reflection of that kid's talent more than the school the kid was recruited from IMO.
