I miss where she says she's a FED? Maybe you need new reading glasses, or maybe I do. PP - It's too bad you can't use your FSA money on over the counters anymore. You need a bar of soap for your mouth. Or maybe use your funds for a therapist for your anger issues. |
- Contact lenses
- Prescription glasses - massage therapy - a lot of your "health & beauty aids" - accupuncture - physical therapy |
The OP said earlier that s/he was NOT a FED. Seems someone here has a comprehension problem. |
Maybe OP shouldn't take out so much next year. I hope you've learned a lesson. |
Is this the same person or just a new one that has had a bad day? Good luck OP sorting through the chatter. |
I looked into massage therapy earlier this year. You could only get it if you had a doctor's note authorizing it as needed. What's a qualifying health and beauty aid? I tried the dermatologist too but nothing was covered under FSA. (I already get skin peels and such and those aren't covered). |
Sunscreen. Or have your dentist make you a mouthguard for nighttime grinding/clenching. I think those cost about $400. |
It's actually a benefit to me. I didn't choose to get the FSA money. Last year I left almost $700 on the table. |
I got the mouthguard already! I do like it a lot ![]() |
HI there. I need new glasses (my scrip is over three years old..) |
Be careful, Obamacare took a lot of the over the counter stuff off the list. Sunscreen won't count anymore, I am pretty sure. |
Nope it doesn't count! |
You really are a moron. Not only is OP not a fed so the rules you cited don't apply to her, but these are for 2015 funds. She obviously needs to use 2014 funds. I bet you are one of those people that has a lot of "bad luck." |
One year we had about $250 to spend and I sent DH to the drug store and told him to go crazy. He bought several years worth of band aids, a good thermometer, etc... |
Bandaids and bandages still count, and first aid kits. You can buy lots and lots of character band aids ![]() |
