Stop being bitter, have a glass of wine, get laid, and get off DCUM. |
| We pay $70/week so we will give her $150 for Christmas. |
| In your case, $95. |
| New poster - ours comes weekly. Should we tip one weeks pay or two? |
One cleaning worth. |
| How big are people's homes here??? I pay $120 every two weeks and supply everything. She does laundry, though. |
|
We usually pay $125 for cleaning.
Tip her $25 additional for Christmas. She is more than happy with it which suggests that either others don't give any tip or she is happy with whatever she gets. |
1300 sq feet. $95 every other week. I supply nothing. No laundry. |
Seriously. Get someone else. |
|
Same here. |
2400 sq feet, $120 every other week, my supplies, some laundry (but not 2 weeks worth). I plan to tip $120. |
| I have 4 people who come bi-weekly to clean my house. They work for a service that I pay $120 per cleaning. Am I expected to tip the owner of the service or each cleaner? I can't afford to pay these people an extra cleaning each! BTW-no one tips me for doing my job. So tired of all this tipping! |
|
Nothing. I use a lot of regularly scheduled services and I don't tip them, I don't know why I would give a holiday bonus to the cleaning service. Pest control comes monthly, yard maintenance, trash removal, car detailing. I pay the price they ask for their service.
I think people give Christmas tips out of guilt. Otherwise why not tip year round? I have no guilt about purchasing a service a company or individual has advertised. |
| We give her a paid day off. |
