42" in the family room, 27" CRT in the living room, and 19" flat screen in the bedroom.
Still prefer the picture on my Sony Trinitron. |
42" in our family room and a 24" in my office. |
We don't have a television since 2006, so I'm no expert, but we bought one for my parents a few years ago. We used a chart that based the size of the TV on the distance of the couch from the TV and then chose a TV on the larger end of the suggested range. |
Currently we are at 42" but DH is about to upgrade to 70" |
60, 55, 50 and 42 |
Get back to the attic grandma |
We have 65 upstairs and 70 downstairs. DH also has 55 in his office. Big TV's are just part of the experience and most of the programming (tickers on the bottom, split screen advertising) is geared toward a larger TV. |
Thanks for the responses! I'm still on the fence. |
9.7 inches. I watch TV in my iPad. |
we live in a 2 bedroom condo and have a 65 inch-- love it
focal point of the room and everyone who comes over loves it. and go plasma! |
A large tv gives you the theater experience. |
I'm a PP. This says a lot about you, and the people you invite over. |
Also in a 2BR condo. 32 inch that is thankfully not the focal point of anything. |
OP here. This is my concern. A gawdy oversized tv. Even in a big space..is 65" just too much? |
Bump. Anyone else? |
