My son wants to go to Georgetown....

This might be a troll post but it's kind of true. There are a lot of really rich money obsessed kids there. I have seen kids go to school there and change for the worse. I think it's all the kids from expensive privates who have chips on their shoulders because they couldn't get into an ivy.

LMAO yeah right, you could neeeeever find out about left-liberal politics and activism in that snake pit of Leftists.
Wow. You clearly have no clue about what Georgetown was like in the 70s. But go on, keep making assumptions based on your stereotypes and thinking you're clever and politically astute.

Who cares about the 70s? You should stop trolling now because you're not even entertaining. PP is right about the 2/10.
Wrong again. You've mistaken me for the OP. But keep patting yourself on the back.

I have no connection to Georgetown, by my oldest recently graduated from an Ivy League school and my middle kid is there now. There are tons of "money-obsessed" kids at their school.

I graduated from RM and went to GU because socially I was not ready to move away from home. I lived on campus but took the bus home on the weekends. In hindsight I wish my parents would have not let me attend. I missed out on a lot of the college experience because I wasn't on campus. Yes, it was my choice to come home but if I had been further away, it wouldn't have been an option.

Of all the area school, GU was the best academically. I didn't consider UMD because to me it was just too big.
