OP, do you have kids? If you do have kids and don't wall-mount the TV, make sure that the set is secured tonthe wall or the stand. TVs tipping over onto kids is a real problem and its a really easy fix. You can buy the straps at Best Buy.
If you do a wall-mount, you should definitely have a professional do the install for a set of that size. They may even need to reinforce the inside of the wall. We did and we only have a 40". Sets can fall off the wall if not done properly. |
Agree with this^^. WE hired someone to mount the tv, and hide all the wiring in the wall. It looks so nice without all the wires. We also have a console below that we use to store dvds. |
And I dislike the wall mount look. |
