Me too. I feel fine. |
This is so true. My first doctor who told me I had fibroids ( after I told him I thought I did them the year before) told me he could only do it with big incision. Got my records that day and left his office and never went back. Went to see Richard Beckerman and he did it laparoscopic and did great job. He did warn me that it would be possible and that he would do his very best not to do the big incision but that it was possible cause my fibroids were huge (size of 20 wk pregnancy). But he got the job done with out making the big incision. |

Had one in early 50's for prolapse. Ovaries left in place, so I experienced natural menopause a few years later.
No regrets. What sort of potential regrets were you thinking of? |
| I had my uterus, cervix and one ovary removed last week. It was all done laparoscopically with just one small incision and I'm already back to feeling almost normal. No regrets so far. If you're in the NoVA area, I highly recommend Dr. Elkas with Mid-Atlantic Gynocologic Oncology and Pelvic Surgery Associates. |
