| Similar situation. My DD has told me (age 8) that she finds the holidays a little bit boring with just her and I and I have to agree (though I didn't necessarily agree with her when she said it, I just asked her to tell me why she thinks that). It is sort of boring. I am with her every day and really we already do so many things together. For the holidays we do have traditions - lots of them - and then include pretty much all the stuff listed above. But then again, during the year, we do some variation of all the stuff listed above so it doesn't seem any different from the rest of the year. |
