I just had the same thing happen to me!!! After 3 years of growing my hair out, I went to get a trim! Instead I got a hack job....Mrs. Brady shag haircut....Horrible. 2 days before Christmas too : (
OP, I also got a crappy layered cut right before DC was born. Very short on top and long layers in the back. I reluctantly got rid of the mullet and ended up with the boy cut. I was retaining lots of water at the time and it made my face look huge! It's been over a year and am glad to get some length back. I recommend that you get someone else to "fix" the back to front angle and trim a little bit off the mullet. The good news is that once your baby is born, you will not have the time to care what you look like, jk

I got mine evened out a bit into a pixie/bob cut. You have to get the angles fixed and keep trimming the layers. Total bummer but my hair grew faster when pregnant.

Go to Vidal Sassoon at the Galleria and see a stylist. They will fix it and it will look much better.
You are going to have to cut it shorter. Shorter does not mean more work. If it is a good cut it will be easy to style. I wouldn't go back to the stylist who gave you cut. Honestly, if they could cut hair it would be a good haircut to start. |

I had long hair (5 inches below shoulder) all one length. I asked for layers and told her I like to wear my hair wavy. She gave me the grossest shag ever. I cried when I got home...I'm aware its only hair and it will grow. It just really sucks. It will take two years to grow out this mess. Im just left with super thin Waaaaaaay overly-layered hair. Its bun time! ugh. I think the only fix is a bob...

i wouldn't go back to the same stylist either but i would talk to the salon manager and request a fix by a senior level person. this is assuming it wasn't the salon owner/manager who cut your hair.
I did that in high school - 3 days before my HS graduation. I refused to get it cut shorter but when I look at the pictures a short cut would have been 100% better. I think if you can even get the bottom layer cut off that will help even it out.
