I made something new I discovered on Pinterest. They were fantastic. Marshmallow treats made with crushed Oreos. The ratios are: 1 bag of marshmallows (not minis), 1/2 stick of butter, one bag of Oreos, crushed (leave some of the pieces chunky). Put the marshmallows and butter in a microwave safe bowl, and nuke until the marshmallows expand and the bitter is melted. Stir it up until smooth and add the Oreos. Put in a greased pan (or a pan lined with nonstick foil), and refrigerate for a little bit. Cut.

I mad a double recipe and that fits in a 9x13 pan.

My mom used to make peanut butter / butterscotch rice krispie treats when I was a kid. They were the bomb.

Buckeyes. My family used to make a dozen different treats at Christmas, and now we just make buckeyes because it's all anyone ever asks for.

1 lb butter
2 lbs peanut butter
3 lbs powdered sugar

Refrigerate the balls, then dip with a toothpick into melted chocolate chips.

Alternatively, "white trash truffles" (oreo balls) are stupidly easy and amazingly delicious. 1 bag of oreos, one block of cream cheese, refrigerate the balls (they are super sticky) and dip in white chocolate. You could easily add a smidgen of food coloring to make them red/green in addition to the white.

The oreo truffles are fantastic especially at Christmas because you do NOT need to roll them into a nice ball, nor dip them in anything. You grab a tablespoon, half hazardly form into a roundish shape, and you've just made coal.
