Can you give more detail about what you think is up? Divorce records don't necessarily reveal much.
Full disclosure: I had a TRO against my ex and he seemingly always explains it away to new dates. They "get it" later on. |
| If he is in maryland google maryland judiciary case search. There is a fair amount of information on there. |
| Google his name, look at images. Mug shots are easy to identify as such. |
| You research stocks - of course you are going to research a person you are going to allow to be close to you! |

I'm 100% behind background checks (the paid kind) on men you meet - esp on the internet.
I'm happily married to a man I met at an elite school-- so I got to vet him verty young. Many women are not so lucky. My sister, for example, dates a true sociopath who told everyone he was a doctor. Five years later (true story), it comes out he was never a doctor at all. He was a school nurse. Yeah, my sister is a bit of an idiot. But, wow if this man didn't have my entire family fooled. So, yes, background check him. I would even pay a private Pi to trail a man for my sister now. I love and trust my DH of 15 years, but god would i hate to be single out there. |
| I should say *dated*. My sister dated the fraud doctor. She dumped him once the truth came out. |
What company did the background check? |
do you do it yourself or do you pay some kind of company or person? |
| I think it depends on the state. I read one mans online (NJ) and it was a doozy the things the wife accused him of. troubling. |
| Yikes. Unfortunately, it's common for one parent to falsely accuse the other of child abuse during a divorce. |
