Best way to travel to Philly?

OP here. If I go by train, my husband can take me to Union Station. Also, I just googled the hotel, which is at 12th & Market--it looks like it's not far from the Amtrak station so I should be able to cab it, right?

Yes, it is a cheap cab ride.

Your hotel is a block from the Reading Terminal Market. Yum!

I stayed just a couple blocks from there a few months ago, and I took the subway from the train station. Super easy.

It's an $8-10 cab ride.

OP here. I don't know what the Reading Terminal Market is--sounds like a bookstore/cafe--but I'm psyched! Thanks all! Train it is.

It's red-ing, not read-ing. It's a huge market with tons of different food stands -- everything from Mexican to Asian to pizza and subs and the best damn Amish donuts ever. Seriously. Unless you're allergic to wheat, do not skip the donuts. They are worth it! Get one!

If you are going to be in the western/southern suburbs I have a good back-way to drive.

Not OP, but I would love to know your route to the western suburbs!
