nose bleeds in children

I used to get nose bleeds during the winter months but coconut oil did the trick for me. Petroleum jelly will protect but not moisturize. Coconut oil protects, heals, and moisturizes. Since I started using it before bed I've never gotten another nose bleed.

Saline rinse and humidifier cleared them up for us. I wouldn't really worry unless those don't help.

Same here. I know when it's time to get the humidifier out when my son starts getting nosebleeds. It usually starts in Oct.

Please keep doxctor appt. It's highly likely it's not serios. However, I have a friend whose DS went to the doctor for the same reason, and within a week He'd had surgery for a brain tumor, thankfully benign.
