How do you dry your sweaters?

OP here. Thanks, everyone.

The reason I have so many to wash at a time is that I put them in the gentle cycle load (and I have a ton of clothes), so it's usually a month or so before I have enough for a full load. I always tell myself I should do more frequent, smaller loads, but there isn't much incentive to create more work for myself!

I hadn't thought of laying them on tables on a towel, but then I think of the extra work of caring for the towels -- letting them dry, folding them back up, putting them away.

So, in conclusion, laundry sucks.

Laundry does indeed suck.

I just wash all my clothes on the gentle cycle. So I throw sweaters in with blouses, undies, pants, etc.

I do the exact same thing, OP. Like a couple of PPs, I either lay them on the ironing board or on towel-covered chair backs. Once they are partially dry and not too heavy, I move them to thick hangers until they are all the way dry, then fold and put away. The towels stay on the chair backs until they are dry, then I fold them and move them back to their permanent place in the laundry room. Not too much extra work overall.

I have stackable mesh racks. If you google it, several options come up. They work great but they are 9.99 eac. I have found I can double up things on them but then it takes longer to dry. But it is great for laying clothes out flat and perfectly shaped. Plus mine have lasted for over 10 years.

I lay sweaters on top of a regular laundry basket.I fold the sleeves on top so the sleeves do not touch the ground. Lots of air flow so they dry pretty quick. Sometimes, I flip the garment over. If in a hurry, place under a ceiling fan.

I put my sweaters on top of a towel on my bedroom floor.
