Do you decorate with family photos?

The only time I can ever remember feeling like somebody had gone overboard was when I walked into a house and there were like 15 wedding photos around the living room. That was a little excessive to me.

+1. I decorate my house to make me happy, and photos of us and our families and friends make me smile.

This is a good philosophy.

You know you've crossed the line when you have this:

If you have nice portraits, put them up, enjoy them.

LOL!! However, if I looked even half that good, I would probably do something similar.

No, I don't, but you should do whatever you'd like with your photos in your home. It's ridiculous to worry about rules and to consult DCUM too see if what you'd like to do is acceptable.

Hilarious! This made me LOL? I can just see the artful arrangements of vintage photographs, each featuring grandparents climbing steps! I love a good theme!

In the family area I keep smaller framed pictures from wedding, babies, portraits. In our room I only have pictures of the two of us.

Calm down, honey. This is an interior decorating thread. Isn't asking for opinions and other people's advice the point?
