+1. I am over 50 so color is not really optional. Plus I have terrible hair, so I have to wear it short (read frequent trims) and relax it regularly to have any hope of looking reasonably professional. Wish I didn't have to spend so much. I don't bother with manis and pedis, though. Nobody sees my toes at work and I'm not willing to do the upkeep on painted nails.

$55 hair cut plus tip about every 8 weeks

I color at home so $13 every 6 to 8 weeks

I also get a blow out for every special event that I attend. $35 each a few times per year.

Seems about right. I'm $160 plus tip every 6-8 weeks for cut, roots, and usually a few foils. I'm greying early so avoiding coloring is not an option. The foils help soften the color a bit so I don't need to go as often ( my hair grows like crazy)

I do cut and color every 7 weeks for $250.

Insane

I look like a million dollars when I leave the salon. It is worth every penny.

I color my own hair and rarely get it cut (2-3 times a year) but I'm a sucker for blow outs.

What's your hair texture/frizz level? I have been considering this for a while but wasn't sure it would be worth it.

I'm sure you think so.

I cut it myself (it's long). So, $0/year.

Same here, less the keratin.

$125 every 5 weeks. I'm 36 and fully grey otherwise.
I make $120K/ yr.

I spend $145 every six weeks on color and cut. I have too much gray to go less frequently. So that's $1200 a year plus tips.

Between $125 and $200 every 6 weeks, depending on the level of service I have done. I make $180k.

I have fine hair.but a lot of it. It's a disaster during humid summers! I still blow dry with the keratin but some women don't have to. My hair is super sleek and easy to manage now. I recommend the OK Keratin brand. It lasts much longer than the more commonly used Coppola brand.

Never done the math until now -- it's a lot.

I go to PR partners. I have long, thick, straight her. Cut + highlights = around $200 plus tip. I go every 3 months or so, so that's probably 4/5 visits per year. So we're probably talking $1200-$1400. I have had keratin treatments in the past, express keratin, and would like to do it again, so add another $400 or so onto that. I can't even add in the expensive shampoo/conditioners. So yeah, somewhere between $1500 - $2000/year.
