That sounds really good, I'm thinking with the cranberries in the qunoia, it'd be too much cranberries? Is there anything else I could put in there?

You need good old fashioned carbs. Mac and cheese.

Does everyone like turkey breast? I'm not crazy about it.
I'd do a roast chicken (or two, or three, depending how many people) instead.

So the final menu?
roasted turkey breast with gravy
- cranberry quinoa pilaf with pecans
- mashed potatoes
- hot green beans with a citrus dressing
- cold spinach salad with apples, pears and manchego cheese
- rolls

and yes, there are lot of desserts! But those are already decided, so I don't want any new good ideas

I think this sounds lovely. Have a great time!

My BIL (and kids!) do love mac and cheese! Would it fit with the rest of the meal? Replace the potatoes with it?

If there are picky kids in attendance, I would make both mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. I always have both for a special meal like you are describing. I often find adults sneaking the mac and cheese and saying, I haven't had this in years. It looks so yummy.
