Can't you drive them?

Not that PP but my kids have a similar schedule, and according to them they like the extra ~20 minutes in the morning before school starts to handle routine business and get ready for the day in a relaxed manner. This is probably our fault since we raised them with the "15 minutes early" guideline as a pretty consistent thing... For half of Freshman year until partway through junior year (once the oldest could drive), I offered to drive them and have them get there a bit later, but was rarely taken up on this. Apparently it throws off whatever morning routine works for them.

There's a ton of perfectly valid reasons a parent wouldn't drive the kids to school including work schedules, younger siblings, only one car or no car family, and the kids' own preference. Why so judgmental?

Can't you just not work?

In Loudoun - nice late start time but lots of clubs meet in the morning, so no bus for those.
