Lane Bryant. I bought size 16 stretch high waisted jeans there.

J Crew has those cool, high waisted ones with stretch. The Point Sur Hightowers are amazing.

I like your attitude! I have found that some of the jeans at Loft or Ann Taylor offer a bit of a higher waist. Not so high they are unattractive, but they definitely don't show butt crack or anything. If they don't have your size in the store, try their online site.

Ha. I wish you were my friend, OP.

(Says this size 24 girl rocking some high-waist pants from Dockers.)

the old navy sweetheart jeans are pretty high-waisted. and cute, and keep their shape, unlike other old navy pants i've had.

Stretch fabric high-waisters? Um, let's hope they don't exist!! Spend some time with the stylist at Nordstrom's or something, they'll help you

They exist. They are in style right now. Try Madewell and Gap.

Thank god the low rise trend is petering out. I am so tired of looking at your muffin tops and butt cracks. Women should have an hourglass silhouette, not look like the Michelin man.

Totally agree! I've had some great luck at Ann Taylor Loft especially for higher waisted jeans. They help SO much with the muffing top situation. I just bought 3 pairs of their Modern Straight Leg Jeans - they are perfect on the waist and still straight leg - not skinny, but still trendy.

American Eagle has some pretty high-waist jeans in stores right now.

Walk around a college campus-- low-rise is on the way out. You'll be amazed how many young women look like they bought their shorts and pants in 1995.

+1

My brother lives out west and he says everyone is wearing high-waisted now (which he hates due to the pancake-ass effect).

Amen to that! There is only one body type that looks good in those and 99.9% of women don't have it. If you are anorexic with hips, then go for it. Everyone else needs to wear something else.
