Eh, the ebola threads will dry up once the disease is no longer in the limelight. Might be a little while, but I think creating a separate forum would be silly.
It seems like whenever there's some big national obsession like this, lots of threads pop up and someone inevitably asks Jeff to create a forum for it. It always goes away. If you don't like the ebola threads, it's really easy to avoid clicking on them. |
Ebola threads are obviously contagious, but the mortality rate of the threads is over 90%. So, just wait. All but a few will soon be gone.

Yup. I think the only issue like this that ever got its own forum was the George Huguely murder. |

Thanks for locking the asinine trick or treating in Dallas thread.
Can you check if the AMA work at Dallas Preb Hospital is actually posting from the DFW area? |
Quarantine the ebola threads! |
I have been posting on ebola on existing threads.
The only reason I opened a separate one for the Inova Loudoun suspected case was because it is closer home. http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/418521.page However, I understand your wish not to have a proliferation of threads on every case - suspected or confirmed. My apologies. |
Yeah but there was a separate forum for the lacrosse/UVA thing and that's a lot less interesting than ebola. |
Yes, that poster is posting from that area. |
