Do you have acne prone skin? Are you an above average sweater? Is your skin also dry and flaky? HELP

BCP + Retin-A + a few month of an antibiotic + Clarisonic= the clearest, smoothest skin of my life. I also take a BCP just to keep my skin clear.

It sounds like you have rosacea. I was diagnosed with rosacea in my 30s, with similar symptoms as yours. Prior to being diagnosed, I tried every product on the planet (to no avail). Now, I use the prescription Finacea, and I reduced the number of products I use. Rosacea equates with sensitive skin, so Retin-A and other "anti-wrinkle" products can sometimes be harmful. I look for products designed for sensitive skin. I use Basis face wash, and Eucerin Daily Protection moisturizer/sunscreen. I do not wear makeup that often, but my make-up is also pretty basic. For any breakouts I may get (which are rare), I use a simple salacylic acid spot cream. With this combination (of simplifying the products I use, and the prescription) most people do not know I even have rosacea.
