| I'm too cheap to pay salon prices for products! |
| Drugstore all the way. You can get some great stuff at the drugstore these days. I love Suave's version of Aveda--it comes in light green bottles. There are some fancier brands, too. The only product I found was better in the salon was a spray wax. |
| I've tried drugstore and salon dry shampoo...that's the only salon product I will swear by. Drugstore brands suck. |
| I love, love my expensive shampoo. We went through a tight budget period and I bought drugstore shampoo but couldn't wait to go back to the expensive kind. I've been using Frederic Fekkai for years and before that, I used Kerastasse and liked it a lot. I don't know, the expensive shampoo I've bought seems way better than any drugstore shampoo and I've tried a lot of both. Even my DH is a convert. |
| I've yet to find anything that beats Suave almond & shea butter shampoo & conditioner. That plus coconut oil as a styling product = great hair. |
|
I use coconut oil for deep conditioning but other than that I get more expensive stuff that doesn't strip my hair - I use Low-Poo http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod3960029
and Jessicurl products for conditioning and styling. If anyone knows of drusgtore brand stuff that is as gentle on hair as the above, do tell! I'd love to save money! |
