Hair ideas for lazy woman

I'm the same way. I wash my hair at night and use mousse (the Big Sexy Hair spray mousse, can buy at Ulta or the sections of Target, CVS, etc. with the nicer hair product brands) and then blow-dry. It seems to work pretty well as long as I go to bed with dry hair. Then in the morning I brush my hair like normal, use my flat iron on any sections that look frizzy, and use a bit of hairspray to flatten any fly-aways.

OP here - this seems like a lot of work! I tried the mousse scrunching solution this morning and it was a terrible frizzy mess by the time I got to work and I had to pull it back. Maybe not enough or the right product...

Lately though I have been wanting to wear it down. Any amazing ideas for getting my thick wavy shoulder length hair to look nice enough for work with minimal effort?

I had a problem like that, so I just bought a silk pillow and ,you know, and now my hair looks better and it's really good to sleep on.
