ACT instead of SAT

Oh, brother... Many false facts with this one. One is not "easier" than the other. They are two different types of tests. Top students go with whichever test that gives them high scores/better chance. And schools don't prefer one over the other. Other than that, it's a correct statement.

Agree. That is why ACT has grown so rapidly in the East/West Coast in the last 10 years; kids figured out ACT is easier with no penalty for incorrect answers, no tricky questions etc. Most kids obtain higher/better scores with ACT than SAT scores. Besides, taking both ACT and SAT is not necessary. Just take one and be done with it.
