Can I kick my wife out of the house if our DC home is deeded in my name only?

Do you really want to die on this particular hill in divorce court? She can claim cruelty. Why not ask her to move out as part of the legal separation.Offer to pay moving costs and one month's rent.She may go willingly to avoid the chaos and embarrassment of you setting her stuff out on the sidewalk. And you avoid potentially looking like an ass during the court proceedings.
