2. One's for cooking and the other one's for making soap.

2 one huge one, and I bought another one since all of the recipes are for smaller ones. The food still tastes like crap though, so I don't think it had anything to do with size.

One large, one small for steel cut oatmeal and one for holiday gatherings that has 3 medium sized pots.

One. I had a crappy one. Got rid of it when I got the new one. On occasion I've wished I had a smaller one, but oh well.

Okay, I'll be the other extreme. 4. I have one 2 cup one which is great for hot dips (crab dip, artichoke dip, queso, etc). When we married, we each had one in two different sizes (one 4 quart and one 6 quart) which was useful. I recently dropped the glass lid to the 4 quart one and shattered it. We ended up replacing this with another 4 quart one as we wanted a programmable one. About 2 months after we replaced the smaller crock pot, my spouse found a box with my old Visions cookware from college which had a glass lid just the right size for the small crockpot. So we now have 4 crock pots.

# of slow cookers: 1
# of times slow cooker has been used: 1.

But I don't eat a lot of meat, so there's nothing I cook that needs 8 hours of cooking.

2. Bought the second because I wanted a larger size and the programmable option. The programmable one cooks WAY hotter than my old tried-and-true. I never set it above "stay warm" because even that will cause liquid to boil.

To 15:07 -- There are so many things you can make in the slow cooker that don't involve meat! I love making my own spaghetti sauce in the crock pot. Have also made suprisingly good "roasted" new potatoes. Slow cooker oatmeal is so good in the winter. The list goes on...

1 large (6 qt?) and one little dipper which i never would have purchased (a gift) but which comes in handy frequently. Fondue, crab dip, small amounts of stuff that I don't want 6 qts of, etc.
veg PP - i do spaghetti squash in my big one. Cut in half, deseed, throw in crockpot on low 4-6 hours (in mine).

If you cook dry beans, the slow cooker is amazing and no soaking required...

Zero. I got one for free from a friend but I didn't like it, so I gave it away. I much prefer using my le cruset dutch oven.

1. I had 2 until I got the one I currently have. It's nice, has a timer etc. Found it at Goodwill for $15. I was thrilled. Gave the other two away. They worked perfectly fine, but didn't need 3.

15:07 here: I do realize there are veggie things I can cook with my crock pot; I guess my real beef (ha ha!) Is the size, having to pull the pot out of a cupboard, cleaning up, etc. Basically my bias against big appliances.
