OP here, this is basically what I decided to do without reading your post! Nice. I am going to make a hunt for lingonberry jam at the grocery store we will see how that goes

Lingonberry jam can be found at Ikea, of course. I've also seen it at Cost Plus World Market. Maybe Whole Foods/ Fresh Market.

It would be mutiny in my house if you tried to serve Swedish meatballs without some Swedish pancakes. And yellow pea soup.

Toss in crock pot with barbecue sauce and grape jelly. Heat then eat.

I don't even like meatballs, but my sister has this delicious recipe that I think is on the bottle...a bottle of ketchup (chili variety) with a can of cranberry sauce or something like that. Sounds disgusting but tastes wonderful.

Yes! But I think it's grape jelly and not cranberry sauce. Dump in crockpot, cook and serve!
