Going stir-crazy with a new baby - what to do to get out of the house?

ppl prob. weren't staring as much as you actually think they were. I know with my firstborn I was hypersensitive (prob. due to the hormones)...and I used to freak out if the baby started to cry when we were out and was convinced all eyes were on me. If they really are staring- just give 'em the stink eye right back!!! I bet some of them are just looking to see a cute new baby.
