| I think you can find some pet friendly hotels in the Dewey/Rehobeth ish area. Going in the fall will mean prices are cheaper and there will be less people. |

In early October I would go to the Outer Banks. The water will still be swimmable and dogs are allowed on the beach all day.
The only people still vacationing there all week have kids 5 and under. We did every year (the last week of Sept) and it is dirt cheap and heaven. Lots of dog friendly places there. Lighthouses and parks to visit too. |
