Go early. Get there within a half-hour of them opening. If you want to sit on the deck, you'll probably have to wait. If you are willing to sit inside (divey bar feel), you'll likely get seated right away -- again, if you arrive within a half-hour of opening.

This. This is the feel that tourists want. It's just outside Annapolis so not a bad drive.

Thanks! Just looked at website and says it opens at 11am - 10 or 11 pm on Saturdays. So even if we went at, say, 5pm, it would still be a long wait?

Oh no, not 5 p.m....you'll have a two-hour wait at least, and you will have a 30-minute wait just to get into the parking lot (tiny lot on a tiny road, so a person flags you when you can park).

I'd recommend getting there at 3:30 on a weekend for a 5:00 dinner. It's nice walking down to the docks and looking at the crabs while you wait, or bring a movie.

It's worth it!!

We've gone on Saturday's around 5:30 and didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes for a table inside. Eating outside isn;t all that great if it's 95 and humid. Parking they just direct you to the other lot next door.
