| Some clubs will provide a partial refund when there is a long-term injury. However, clubs incur expenses (league fees, coaching fees - which are the norm for travel soccer, insurance, etc.) that are year-long commitments. Injury is an unfortunate risk in sport, but you commit to them for a year, and they commit to you for a year - and you pay for that. Hope the recovery is smooth - don't push too hard to get back in early. Following doctor's orders to the letter is the best way to get back to playing as early as is safely possible. Good luck. |
Surprised to hear that -- I would guess just the opposite. |

Hope you can get at least a partial refund. My kid's team would do that, but they have been together for a long time and have a big roster.
btw, sorry about your kid's ankle. my HS kid has been out for the start of seasons for two separate sports due to an injury, and I know it is a big bummer for the kid. |
| It sucks. Happened to us and we got nothing. The coach was also very unpleasant about what happened to his fitness during the two months of injury and about drs orders to come back slow. Sorry. |
We did not see a dime from one of the premier clubs in the area. |
