Thanks very much for this. Nice of you to give us the teen perspective.

Why are you assuming she like boys?

This is tricky... vans shoes are very popular for girls and guys as well as rainbow flip flops (for girls) for summer/fall. In the way of clothing, cropped tops and high waist shorts from many different stores (hollister, forever 21, pacsun, urban outfitters, etc) are really in. Sperrys for girls & guys are always pretty trendy. Athletic wear: NIKE! mid-calf socks are pretty much a must-have (not kidding!!) and nike free runs are the "cool shoes" but they're kinda expensive... any nike shoe is cool in general.

Ofc I'm in to boys (for you older people "ofc" means of course)

OP (just figured that abbreviation out! the forum's lingo is a little different than normal teen shortcuts)

Do you wear the bike socks and flip flops together? I know it's cool now but some day kids will look back and say what were we thinking!

DEFINITELY. I think college is a must (and I'm assuming most of my friends do too). I'm only 15 so idk what I'll study yet, but I'm thinking of becoming a doctor of some sort.

Stop trying to find bigotry where there is none. 95% of females are straight.

Most of my friends have been past "1st base" (making out) so yes. I'm guessing your son probably has too, but you never know. If you give me more details about his social life and what you know about him and girls i could probably make a good assumption of what his "activity level" was. I hate to be brutally honest, but around this age approx. sophomore year it isn't rare to find kids that have been to 3rd base (please look it up-- i suggest urban dictionary) Ive also had a boyfriend... Most people have their first around freshman year.

I don't have a job but I'm planning on getting one next summer. My friends (some) lifeguard. My money comes from my parents giving it to me. I don't have a credit card. I usually don't stay "out" past 11 but it really depends on the situation. Concerts i stay out later and there are always sleepovers. I try to sleep as early as possible during the year because like every other teenager, I LOVE sleep.

What percentage of your friends have sent regrettable selfies/sexts to boys?

So I'm 46- an "old". when I was your age there were parties every single weekend and kids drank a lot. I'm talking serious booze. In retropect, it was crazy. So do kids smoke pit, drink, do adderall.....what's the main choice of weekend partying substance? Not that I'm suggesting that YOU do this, but there's gotta be something. Also, is Molly a "thing" anymire? Sry for long post....I find this interesting.
