| LOL, Bonchon, Popeyes, and Giant is the "best fried chicken"? MoCo sucks so hardcore. |
Who makes your favorite fried chicken? |
| Popeyes and Pollo Campero are the best! |
Hitching Post. Highly recommended. |
Of course. But the original question was where to get take-out fried chicken for a picnic. Sorry if that's not high-end enough for you! |
Hitching Post is super cheap. I'm not surprised you've never been there, but I'm surprised you'd assume it's expensive just because it's exceptionally good. I guess I shouldn't be, though. People in MoCo often conflate $$$ for quality. Enjoy the Giant chicken, though. I'm sure it's the best MoCo has to offer. |
Time for your meds. |
Hahahahaha. They list valium as one of the links on their website. No wonder you like it "Hitching Post" devotee http://www.hitchingpostdc.com/index.html#content |
I don't necessarily equate $$$ and quality, which is exactly why I am not opposed to Popeyes and the like for some basic, good, southern fried chicken. Despite living in MoCo, I am able to use the google and read an online menu. $15 per plate fried chicken isn't my idea of picnic blanket potluck fare. Thanks for playing! |
Aw, I didn't realize $15 would break the bank. I guess MoCo is attracting the poors these days? |
Ah, touched a nerve, huh? And leave it to a bored MoCo housewife to immediately jump to the idea of needing to medicate herself out of existence. You guys are so predictable! |
|
Don't tell anyone, but the picnic was in the district and the majority of attendees are DC residents.
They ate all the Giant fried chicken. |
|
| Safeway also has great fried chicken and it is $5 a bucket on Fridays. We buy a bucket the day before the family reunion and that morning, I run it through my oven to crisp while I make a side dish. Never a complaint. |
What a bore, or should I say what a boar you are. I live it Manhattan bitch. |
