Where are their sanctions?

It is a terrible, terrible, thing, but it is not the Holocaust. It is lazy and wrong to describe it as such.

Regarding protests in Israel against the war, there have been several. It takes a lot of bravery to protest against the war in Israel's current environment and the courage of the protesters should not go unappreciated.

Please 85% of the people in Israel support the war. Most of the people there want an occupation of Gaza. That will mean many more months of this. Their is no shame in Israel.

There's not much she can do but protest. It's not a reflection on her. It's the state of Israel, period.

Netanyahu wants to define Israel as the Jewish nation state and 97% of Israeli Jews support the Gaza operation that has resulted in the deaths of many civilians. Many non-Israeli Jews feel they now are presumed to support the wanton killing of innocent children abroad as well. If they do not, this is very wrenching for them on many levels, although it's the Gazans, not American Jews fretting about possible anti-Semitism, who deserve the world's attention and support right now.

The Jews outside Israel will have to wrap their heads around the fact that much of the world harbors no ill will toward them, but would actually relish Jewish deaths on a scale unknown since the Holocaust in response to what Israel has done in Gaza. It is awful on so many different levels, which is what happens when people like Netanyahu unleash their most barbaric instincts.

PP, could you please state clearly that you are reporting the desires of others and not something that you yourself would relish? I certainly would not relish the large scale killing of Jews, or any Jewish civilians for that matter. Anyone who does relish such a thing is not welcome on this website.

I wish people viewed crimes committed by Muslims this way.....

Well, Jews feel guilty. It's what we do.

Apparently, not the ones in Israel.

That's not fair. There are many Israeli Jews protesting the government's latest actions.

Very few, and they are harrassed.

It is not my wish. I think the world is descending into chaos and hatred due to "leaders" like Netanyahu.

Crowds of 7,000 sound pretty big to me. And they are brave.

You lie and support an evil regime. God will punish you and Israel.
