Wine and ethnic origin

Yes -- I am absurdly nostalgic, so I regularly drink wines from my grandparents region and shed a tear. That the wine does not travel well objectively is entirely beside the point.

Who can resist a glass of MAneshevitz?

My Scottish grandfather, born in Aberdeenshire, never drank scotch. He preferred Kentucky Bourbon.

I like South American wines the best. And Italian table wines. Don't like whisky at all. I've tried.

Nope. I'm ethnically German and do not care generally for gewurtztraminers or rieslings, etc.
