You know how I can tell you've never raised a child through adulthood?

What's wrong with it? I think it's a great idea to show your appreciation for things.

1. I have an amazing husband who I love
2. I work with bright, funny people whose company I truly enjoy
3. I love my daughter with all my heart

Aaaand my daughter (18) explodes at me, saying that clearly I put work before her, blah blah blah. Was I really sooo wrong?

Ehm...seriously? You list the people you work with before your daughter? Yup, I'd be super hurt, too. How did that not even come to mind when making the list. How did "People at work." pop into your head before "I love my daughter"? Yeah, I don't find her reaction over sensitive at all. Sensitive, yes. But totally valid.
