Does anyone have recent experience here with the infant room?

We had an awful experience there about a year ago. We picked up DS from daycare and as soon as we left the room he realize he had a huge blackeye. We went back and asked the teachers for an incident report. They said they had never noticed the blackeye. Then they suggested maybe he jumped off a bookshelf. We asked the director to view the video tapes. She viewed them Herself deemed that there was nothing of note to see and deleted them. We pulled DS out of daycare that day and never look back.

I have questions! How engaged did you think the teachers were? I'm a little worried about a four to one ratio - our current place has a three to one ratio. How did your child do with milk and food consumption? My child went on a hunger strike for the first week or to at daycare, but the teachers were really great about giving him frequent opportunities to have a bottle. I'd be worried at another place that they don't have enough time to be so persistent with offering bottles/snacks. Did you feel your child had enough activities during the day to keep him/her occupied? It always breaks my heart to visit centers where the babies are just kind of sprawled out and no one is holding them, playing with them, or otherwise interacting with them.

Any recent feedback about the USDA CDC? The oldest is 2015 and we were offered a slot for this upcoming Sept.. Please Help
