Whaaaaaaaat?!?!?!
But I was so excited! I felt so smart! SHIT!

What else can I spritz on q tips to get my glasses clean?

Eyeglass cleaner...

Wow, I've been wearing glasses since second grade and had no idea that's even a thing! Can I buy it at someplace like a drugstore or Target, or do I have to buy it from my eye doctor?

i always use dish detergent and water to wash my glasses. Has not caused the coating to come off before I need new glasses for other reasons. (ie, still lasts years)

I use spit. Seriously. It breaks up the oils that make the lens blurry. And I wipe it with cotton rag.

You don't need special eyeglass cleaner!

My BIL is an optician. He swears by Dawn dish detergent.

NO Q-TIPS! The fibers will scratch the lenses or the AR coating. No tissues. No paper towels.

Use something that is 100% cotton to wipe them.

PP again

Noooo. They'll scratch up your lenses and leave a residue!

Us blue Dawn for everything. Google it. Seriously, it's a miracle concoction.

Use a glass measuring cup to cook scrambled eggs in the microwave.

The zoo opens its doors at 6 a.m.--get there before the buildings open at 10, which is when the crowds get there.

Use your leg to pin down a squirmy toddler during diaper changes, and then future threats of "the leg" will often get said toddler to hold still.

Acne spot treatment removes ink pen from dolls. Just slather it on and leave the doll in the sun for a few hours. MAGIC!

I thought eyeglass cleaner was a gimmick, like produce cleaner.

Shopkeeper bell attached to the front door. Works as a pretty good alarm system and lets me know when the kids are leaving the house!

Windex gets out blood stains. Spray the spot and it bubbles up then rinse it in cold water. I won't get into details with how I learned that

I spilled some Elmers wood glue on my carpet before. Tried to get it up with carpet cleaner but it dried HARD. I boiled vinegar, added it to a spray bottle, soaked the spot, left it for 30 min and patted it dry. PERFECT.

Dr. Bronners soap cleans makeup brushes and sponges better than anything that I have ever used. It also gets makeup and grease spots out of your clothes. I use the Lavender scent. I use the Peppermint scented one in a spray bottle mixed with water and use it to kill flies in my house. Something in it makes them sick and they die.

Monistat chafing gel is the BEST make-up primer you will ever use. Controls oil better than Smashbox or MAC ever will.

Thats all I have for now.

+1. The word "hack" needs to go away.
