Anyone else use Potty in SUV trunk?

Why do people think it's okay to let a kid pee or poop anywhere other than a restroom?

if anyone acts horrified, then they have a boring sterile life! (we don't sit in the house forever just b/c dd or ds is in training.)

If you're doing it right, it's just a couple days to a week. It shouldn't take "forever."

Like in their diaper? Or in their pants?

W/E

We do EC, so yeah, we have done this if needed. We use the Potette, so we just toss the insert (which is a plastic bag with an absorbent liner). Who cares?

And to clarify, we generally take her to a restroom, but we frequently travel on rural highways to visit family. She can hold it for a while, but sometimes you just gotta go and have already been driving 15 minutes looking for a restroom. You gotta do what you gotta do.

Oh, and to FURTHER clarify, it's pretty much always just been pee. No biggie.

Do you have children?

Nobody thinks it's okay. It's just that they shit themselves, routinely. Just part of the cycle of life, unfortunately, but it's better to catch it in something more convenient than underwear.

Yes, your life is active and exciting. The people who never had their child pee or poop in a plastic bucket in the car on 95 S are dull and boring. You really know how to live, PP!!!

I love pottee potty http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0016L0MMS?pc_redir=1405052689&robot_redir=1

I toss the bag in the trash. Lysol wipe it down set a new bag.
We are always on the go and most public restrooms are disgusting

+1

This stage didn't last more than a few weeks for us but we did leave the potty in the back for a little longer just in case.

Why are your children taking forever to potty train? And do you pull off the highway and stop the car to let your children relieve themselves in your backseat?

Yeah, they're definitely more disgusting than just letting your kid shit in a bucket and then driving around with it.

Public restrooms have always been disgusting and probably will always be disgusting - at what age will you stop letting your child pull down his pants and defecate in your car?

lol Seems Mrs On-The-Go and her very active family of forever-toilet-training-children is full of more than just pee and poop!!!!

Why are people being so mean spirited about this? It's not necessary. Dd is 2 and too small for a toilet. She almost never goes poop outside the house, and if she did, we would dispose of it in a toilet. It is a small price to pay for not dealing with diapers anymore. She is totally potty trained and refuses to wear diapers or training pants so what are we supposed to do? And how is pooping in the car somehow more gross than popping in a diaper anyway?

2 year olds don't get to "refuse" anything. However, a parent who thinks it's okay to shit in random containers would never understand that.
