Father here....what to do when DW and Tween DD are cycling?

Anonymous
It's very DCUM to hurry up and assume that everyone is a troll. I have been called that on one of my posts and it had to do with someone else endangering themselves.

I would either go for a long walk by myself if I were you or ask if they want to go with you. Exercise can help with PMS. Chocolate helps too!! Good luck.

I know very little about this. I do not know how to use a tampon (DD wants to go swimming). And it would not be appropriate for me to show her.

I still think you are a troll, but in case I'm wrong, I'll say this: if your wife feels so bad when she has her period that she can't talk to your daughter about using a tampon, she should see a doctor. No one needs to show a kid how to use a tampon.

Same here! I was going to suggest that he either join them or stay home and read a book!

In light of the actual context, may be he should go cycling by himself.

Agree. With both points. You can point your DD to Libra Girl's website. My father was more helpful with my "girl issues" than my mother so don't discount yourself just because you don't have a female reproductive system. I taught myself to use a tampon by reading the diagram that comes in the tampon box.

Disgusting post. Go away. Show her how to use a tampon, really?

Is this DD's first period? If she and her mom are on a cycle together -- that takes some time, sounds like she's had periods for a while. What questions could she possibly have if she's been going through this for a while already? Can't you just punt the tampon question to when mom is feeling better??

I doubt that your wife feels so bad that your DD is coming to you about tampons rather than going to one of her friends or a friend's mom.

Sure, show her. But first practice by sticking a few up your ass.

Please go play video games or something instead of trolling.
