What can I take to this brunch??

Artisan confections makes beautiful truffles. Could bring a box alone or with chMpagne. They could serve or keep.

I will typically bring something that can either be served or saved for the host/hostess to consume later. For a youngish guy housewarming, I brought a plate of homemade cinnamon rolls (like Cinnabon). Since he had a houseguest for the weekend, he saved those for them to have for snack and breakfast the next day. I've also made banana bread, zucchini bread, walnut muffins, and blueberry muffins. If the hostess doesn't like the item, they can share it with the guests and if they like them, they can set them aside as a treat. Now you can go to the the dollar store or the discount aisle at Target and get nice serving plates and dishes that don't have to be returned (and I tell the hostess that).
