Do you like your French door fridge?

I have that type of fridge in a counterdepth kitchenaid model. I like it, but I would get a one door version with a freezer drawer on the bottom if I had the room in my kitchen. I always open both doors anyway unless I'm completely sure of the location of something (e.g. milk on the door). Platters do not fit in the counterdepth model. It's way too shallow.

I still have to open both doors, because no one ever puts things back int he same place!

Truth. The counterdepth French door at out beach house holds very little of anything. Basement fridge/freezer is necessary. Regular depth at home much better.

Yes, love it ! It's nice to open only one door - I know where things are at.

+1 I love our new Samsung--have had it since Thanksgiving and much prefer it to any other style we've ever had. It also makes an abundant amount of ice, which is great, although I do think the sound of newly made ice dropping into its container is loud (according to numerous reviews I read before the purchase, others have noticed the same).

I hate it. Not as much space as I thought, and everyone leaves doors slightly open accidentally.

It looks too big and expansive for our kitchen - which isn't tiny but isn't huge, either. I'm not a fan of the bottom freezer - it would definitely be a dumping ground in our house.

We had one in our old home. I loved the way it looked, but day-to-day it was annoying. I wouldn't buy one again.
