| Axe body spray belongs on no one. Not 2 1/2, not 12, not 21, not 41 or beyond. |

I personally think it is too young for body spray, but that is my opinion and I do not have any medical experience.
A better opinion would be from her M.D. I would be most interested in what he/she would advise. |
| Not okay, normal, healthy emotionally or physically. |
| Totally weird, horrible, gross. Poor kid. |
| Gross and not healthy. |
| The problem is not that the child stinks, which is easily remedied. The problem is that your friend thinks her spraying her child with a chemical perfume is ok. It is not. |
| All those chemicals on young skin? Yuck. If he stinks, how about a bath? And why would she want her toddler to smell like a teenage boy? Very weird. |
| Jury is out whether those sprays are endocrine disrupters. I would not risk it on a young boy. |
|
So totally repulsive.
She's polluting the air. She's teaching her son he isn't good enough the way he is. She's causing him to breathe in chemicals. I could go on and on. Your neighbor is mentally retarded. |
| Weird at every age. |
| 4yo ds occasionally uses our shower, and dh soaps him up with his Old Spice "Fresh" shower gel. I hate it, that's not how a 4yo should smell! I couldn't imagine using a body spray on purpose on a toddler. That's just weird. |

I wonder if the mother just likes the smell (does her husband wear it maybe?) of Axe, wanted to smell it throughout the day but didn't want to wear it herself. Even if the answer is yes, it's still strange. Mostly because it's AXE but also because she's acting like her child doesn't already smell ok.
Somewhat related, using scented baby lotion on a child is not considered socially weird or anything. It's mainly that it's Axe that makes this weird. |

This time of year, toddlers should smell like grass, sunscreen, fresh water, maybe chlorine, and sweat (which is strangely sweet and pleasant to me on my son and kids I have babysat before he was born). Maybe lavender after a bath.
Not Axe. That stuff doesn't smell good on anyone, but is best reserved for 13 year old boys hoping to garner the attention of a special someone. I'm convinced some mom somewhere invented it to make sure that no 13 year old gets laid too early. |
| This is totally something my DH would do and I agree is crazy! He always wants to put cologne on our 4 yo. We compromised on a light body spray from Bed Bath and Beyond, but I still think is crazy. |

Yuck. Little kids smell awesome just the way they are. And Axe is foul. But no body spray on little kids!
