If I'm an alum of a grad school, does that help AT ALL in undergrad applications?

Being a law school alum doesn't help much for Harvard college admission. And two alumni parents add very little to an alumni "hook." That said, an alumni parent connection may be the least of the advantages in applying to college as the child of a sitting US president.

Agree. And unless the OP is Michelle, I don't think the PPs view about Malia helps the OP much.

She is an automatic admit at any Ivy League or Stanford. Case closed.

My school (Carnegie Mellon) doesn't consider legacy. Well, maybe if you are one of the Heinz kids.

And she will have earned her place every bit as much as her parents did.

Legacy really only matters if the legacy is a “desirable” legacy. A desirable legacy is either very prominent or, more likely, a significant donor. If the legacy is a big donor to the grad school, they’ll get the legacy bump every bit as much as if they had graduated from the school as an undergrad. In general, however, legacies donates to their undergrad schools first.
