The cool, old house in Vienna had a price drop...

Charming. Who cares what the other homes are like on the street. Vienna has so many new builds going on, most of the streets have a mix of styles.

WTH? All the other houses on that street are split-level houses. Huh? Did the Victorian house drop from the sky?

Obviously it was there first with a lot more land around it and then the other houses were added later.

That's the nicest house I've ever seen in Vienna...

There's some nice woodwork, but it's a shame the original wood floors haven't survived. That '80s-style floor tile is also unfortunate.

what insufferable authenticity douches on this thread. Fine, take out the brass fixtures and put in restored chrome or what have you, Put in an old style "ice box" in the kitchen and pay a man to wear a costume and drive a horse and buggy to schlep a block of ice to your back door kitchen every day. No tv, only ye olde radio for you, so you'll have to drop the voltage in the wiring. No more DCUM, gotta go re-enact a series of "This Olde Haus" for PBS--complete with sound effects, etc.
