Why can't I find Hunter back adjustable rain boots in black?

I feel you, OP. This was me earlier this year. I finally decided to go with a different color and bought through the Hunter USA site. They're the greatest rainboots of all time

Actually, if she wants serious boots for actual outdoor activities, there are much better choices. I think most people wear Hunters as a fashion statement. OP, if you want real boots, check out Cabela's.

Yes, the folks who need real boots don't buy Hunters. But they do look good splashing through the rain into the Chevy Chase Starbucks, which is all that matters around here.

It's just an observation. Part of the year I live somewhere with serious weather, and no one wears Hunters there. But they work fine here, and they seem to be de rigueur for a certain group of women.

Hunters are so 3 years ago, why do you even want them now, OP? I mean, if they're selling them at Costco it's a pretty good clue they're not a fashion statement. And if they're not a fashion statement, and they clearly don't fit your calves, you do not need to spend over $100 on rubber boots.
