OP here - pleased to report I was too pessimistic about our chances of getting the stains out. DH worked some magic and the carpet looks pretty dang good! Not perfect, but my panic moment has passed. I'm sure I'll have another or four before our open house in 7 days. Now to keep the kids and dog out of the basement
But I'm going to take a day off from stressing about anything house related. |
