whiplash from stopping sunderlying on 270

I got very mild whiplash a few years back, when a car I was riding in (backseat) got hit from behind. I didn't have to go to the doctor, but my neck was very stiff for several days. It did go away, though. Driving was kind of a pain - you don't realize how often you move your neck around. So yes, you could probably have a sore neck from a sudden stop on the Beltway.
