IT--no waitlist for 5th & 6th grade

Anonymous
If looking for a middle school option, I'd encourage folks to visit/tour IT. It may not be what you're looking for but it's worth a look. I think the teachers are impressive and do a great job of differentiating.

If you'd prefer a larger middle school then it may not be the best fit. However, if you want a small school (private) feel with more teacher attention and differentiation, it may be a good fit.

Thanks OP for posting. I'm not currently in the market for middle school, but it's on my radar as I'm considering future options.

Hi, it's OP again...happy to report that my rising 4th-grader has been admitted off the wait list. It looks like several 5th & 6th graders have applied and been admitted over the past couple of weeks--and the meeting minutes from the recent Inspired Family Assoc. meeting may answer some of the questions above with regard to middle school plans: http://www.inspiredfamiliesassociation.org/meetings.html

Wishing everyone a good end to the school year and a restorative summer ahead!

Ok, I just read the meeting minutes and was impressed by the level of communication the families have with each other and the school. Seems pretty organized.

One question - the minutes state that Lee Montessori will be at Shaed for 2 years. I thought Lee would only be there for 1 year. Did they extend the length?

The IFA truly is an awesome parent organization to support IT. Congratulations on your acceptance and welcome to the community!

I also wonder who the new middle school assistant principal could be. Have they hired him/her yet?

Lee has made it clear to Lee parents that they will be there for two years unless something unusual happens.

That has always been the plan as far as I know.
